IHGF
(Indian Handloom and Gifts Fair) is professionally
organized by the Exporters Promotion Council
for Handicrafts (EPCH), an apex body of
Indian handicrafts exporters set up to promote
Indian Handicrafts worldwide. The Council
provides comprehensive information about
the sector to international buyers, to facilitate
conductive business. Among its various regular
activity, EPCH organizes buyer-seller meets,
conferences, study tours etc. overseas to
explore market opportunities. The council
also undertakes design & technical workshop
for creating awareness within the industry.

Organised
with the primary objective the primary objective
of bringing before the world, the entire
repertoire of handicrafts & gifts from
India. IHGF is showcasing various types
of design, styles, concepts as well as raw
materials form exhibitors. ‘Jute India ‘
during the show displays handicrafts made
from the versatile natural fiber. There
is also participation from Handloom, silk
& Coir organizations

scheme by EPCH and govt. have brought in
myriad diversification as well as developments
in style & shapes of crafts. As a result,
the display of exquisite products in the
fair over the years has shown major changes
in design & innovation which have made
the fair more attractive from the buyer’s
point of view. Special highlights on display
are eco-friendly utility products from the
North Eastern states of India as well as
Uttar Pradesh, produced under the guidance
of international designers, specifically
for the overseas market. Other broad product
categories comprise gifts, decorative, art-metal
ware, home, utility items, fashion jewellery
& accessories, home textiles & furnishings,
clocks, furniture, floor coverings, Christmas
& floral decor, brocades, etc.

inception 1994, this expo has evolved to
become Asia’s ‘one stop sourcing event’
eagerly awaited by buyers across the globe.
This UFI approved has received accolades
from international visitors, both buyers
and journalists because of its premium quality
and uniqueness in the products on display.
